WALTHAM, Mass., May 3 (UPI) -- It might not be up there with oil company executive pay, but it turns out U.S. stay-at-home moms do jobs worth $134,121 on the open market, a survey found.

Salary.com, which specializes in evaluating compensation, said the 2006 update to its analysis of stay-at-home moms' work determined the top 10 jobs that make up a mom's job description would be worth $134,121 annually -- if moms were actually paid for their work. That's a raise from $131,471 in 2005.

This year, for the first time, the survey took into account compensation for moms who also work outside the home. Just for the "mom" portion of their jobs, those moms would earn $85,876 annually -- in addition to what they earn for their outside work.

Salary.com said the job titles that best matched mothers' definitions of their work included: housekeeper, day-care center teacher, cook, computer operator, laundry machine operator, janitor, facilities manager, van driver, CEO and psychologist.

Psychologist, laundry machine operator, computer operator and facilities manager were new to the list in 2006.
