RIVERHEAD, N.Y., April 28 (UPI) -- A New York man who frequented the Web site vampirefreaks.com has been charged with arranging a graveyard tryst with a police officer posing as a teenager.

Eric Fischer made arrangements for the meeting almost immediately after exchanging first messages with what he thought was a "13-year-old" on Wednesday, police told the New York Daily News. He allegedly made a date for after work at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Coram on Long Island.

It was the police officer who suggested the cemetery.

"He said, 'Cool!' He liked it," Suffolk County Police Commissioner Richard Dormer said.

Fischer, described as a Goth, has already been charged with sexually assaulting a teenager he had met through the Web site at the home he shares with his mother in Sayville. Investigators are also trying to determine if he had sex with any other girls he met online.

Suffolk County Police Deputy Inspector Mark Griffiths said that vampirefreaks.com attracts people "on the fringe."

"They're lonely and they're depressed," he said.
