LOS ANGELES, April 5 (UPI) -- By a numerical quirk, 62 minutes and three seconds into Wednesday morning the time and date was sequential -- 01:02:03 04/05/06.

And in California, psychics and astrologers are having a heyday with the phenomenon that won't happen again for a century, the Los Angeles Daily News said.

Fortune teller Gina Lee told the newspaper the sequence will bring change.

"I feel like I know something's going to happen -- like a rush through my whole body," Lee said. "At that particular second, I do see good things for the nation ... there will be a change in the world for everyone."

Astrologer Bill Mayer said he sees the dawn of sharing and cooperation among rich and poor nations beginning at that moment, while author and political satirist Steve Young said he found comfort in it.

"It's the only thing that's going in the right order in this country," Young said.

Jack Straw sleeps in Rice's bed

LONDON, April 5 (UPI) -- In a reverse of gender chivalry, U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice gave up her aircraft bed so British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw could sleep.

The weekend incident aboard Rice's Boeing 757 was made even odder by the fact Rice, 51, slept on the floor in the aisle as Straw, 59, slept in comfort, The Mirror reported.

The pair was en route to Kuwait en route to Iraq, and the aircraft has only one sleeping cabin.

A U.S. Embassy spokesman in Baghdad diplomatically told The Mirror that the pair's sleeping arrangements were "a private matter which I couldn't comment on."

Monday, the pair urged Iraqis to shun armed violence and back democracy as they addressed reporters in Baghdad. Both returned to London, where Rice had dinner with Prime Minister Tony Blair.

Helping suspected madam leads to divorce

SCHERERVILLE, Ind., April 5 (UPI) -- A vacationing Indiana woman has begun divorce proceedings after her husband agreed to take in a woman charged with running a prostitution ring.

Susan Hjertquist was at the couple's second home near Fort Myers, Fla., when she learned of her husband's generosity in Schererville, Ind.

On March 15, U.S. Magistrate Andrew Rodovich released Ansil Hyun on a $50,000 bond on condition she "live with Larry Hjertquist" at his home, the Northwest Indiana Times reported.

Hyun was among seven women arrested in a raid on three spas where investigators claim sex was offered for sale.

Susan Hjertquist said she will return to Indiana immediately and confer with a lawyer to dissolve her marriage of 36 years and evict her husband and Hyun from their home.

Hyun is to answer to the charges at a May 24 arraignment.

French customs does not like 'Weeds' goods

CANNES, France, April 5 (UPI) -- Items aimed at luring international TV buyers meeting in Cannes to buy Showtime's "Weeds" created a bad buzz among French customs agents.

Lionsgate Television took T-shirts and caps adorned with marijuana leaves and the slogan "Weeds -- High on Season 2" to the MIPTV convention to promote the series overseas, the Hollywood Reporter said Tuesday.

As staff began setting up a booth Monday, they found themselves surrounded by customs officials who seized the merchandise, Daily Variety said.

"We sold our series but lost our shirts," Lionsgate President Kevin Beggs told Variety.

"Weeds" stars Mary-Louise Parker as a young widow who sells pot to make ends meet.
