SAN FRANCISCO, March 6 (UPI) -- U.S. parents are more concerned about job security and saving for college than terrorism or crime, a new survey indicates.

The Little Grad surveyed 300 people online late last year, asking them to rank their top 10 concerns.

Those surveyed ranked job security as their top worry, followed by retirement savings, dying before their children grow up and the ability to provide for their children's education. Of less concern were crime, the environment, gasoline prices, the amount of time their children spend watching television and playing video games, terrorism and traffic.

The survey had a margin of error of 5 percentage points.
