Breasts Not Bombs members unsuccessfully sought a restraining order barring their arrests and the California Highway Patrol warned indecent exposure convictions could mean their names will be added to the state's sex offender registry, the Los Angeles Times reported Tuesday. Advertisement Protester Sherry Glaser, 45, of Albion, Calif., said her group has staged topless protests across state as well as on the White House steps and had "never been restrained in this way." With about 100 people standing by, Glaser and Renee Love, 40, also of Albion, shed their shirts and were promptly arrested for indecent exposure, disorderly conduct and going beyond the scope of their permit to demonstrate on state property. The Sacramento County district attorney's office told the Times no decision had been made whether to prosecute the women or whether they would seek to label them sex offenders. The protest was staged to illustrate their opposition to Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's ballot measures being voted on Tuesday.
