OSLO, Norway, Aug. 8 (UPI) -- The crew of a small ferry in western Norway were suspended from work for allegedly drinking on the job.

The three crew men were running the ferry MS Edoy between Sekken and Molde when they were arrested Sunday on suspicion of operating the ferry while under the influence of alcohol.

The breathalyzer tests were conducted early in the morning, after the first ferry run of the day. Police suggested the alcohol may have been in the men's systems from a party the night before, Aftenposten reported.

There were two passengers and one car on board the ferry when police conducted the sobriety checks.
