HONG KONG, June 11 (UPI) -- The French climber known as Spiderman has added a Hong Kong skyscraper to the tall buildings he has conquered without special equipment.

Alain Robert spent an hour getting up the 62-story Cheung Kong Center, counting occasional stops to talk to reporters on the telephone, ITV News in Britain reported.

Robert wore red trousers, matching the color worn by the comic book Spider-Man.

The building's owners have no plans to press charges against the climber, thwarting police efforts to at least reprimand him for his exploit.

Robert has previously climbed the Eiffel Tower in Paris and the Empire State Building in New York without ropes.
