CINCINNATI, March 31 (UPI) -- A Cincinnati couple has sold off a new house not yet finished after discovering damage caused by pools of urine, the Cincinnati Post reported Thursday.

Bradley and Margaret Parker filed a lawsuit Tuesday seeking their $5,000 down payment back after months of anguish following an October surprise visit to the $290,000 house under construction.

"There's really no dispute that the activity of urinating occurred," their attorney Douglas May said. "It was something (the Parkers) couldn't mentally overcome."

The lawsuit against NVR Inc. is backed by an array of photographs the couple took.

"Said habits were sufficiently pervasive to generate pools of urine within a linen closet never conceived to house a toilet," the suit said.

The suit also claimed the pooling was so prevalent the urine soaked through the floor and kitchen ceiling, causing another pool of urine in a space between the kitchen and dining room.
