TOKYO, March 20 (UPI) -- A chewing gum in Japan that claims to enhance the size, shape and tone of female breasts has become a best seller in the country.

Manufacturer B2Up claims Bust-Up gum can also help improve circulation, reduce stress and fight ageing, the BBC reported Sunday.

The gum works by slowly releasing extracts from Pueraria mirifica plants. B2Up claims tests carried out by Thailand's Chulalongkorn University found that Pueraria mirifica therapy can enhance breast size by 80 percent.

Tests carried out by the British Nutrition Foundation found the plant had beneficial effects on the skin, and hair, and breasts. However, the foundation said no specific tests have been carried out on the gum itself.
