BROOKLYN, N.Y., Jan. 14 (UPI) -- Yemeni vendors in Brooklyn won't sell a Polish magazine with a bare-breasted woman in a burka on the cover, the New York Daily News reports.
Calling the latest issue of Polish-language news weekly Forum an insult to Islam, Yemeni vendors blacked out the breasts and threatened to stop selling the magazine.
"They show something bad about Islam, an Islamic woman naked. We feel angry about it," Abdul al-Fatah, 30, told the Daily News.
But Poles questioned why the vendors don't mind selling porn magazines like Hustler and Penthouse.
Forum ran the picture to accompany an article about sex and Islam.
