Irene Sinclair, who lives in a retirement community, is featured in an off-the-shoulder top and headscarf, with empty boxes marked "Wrinkled?" or "Wonderful?" Advertisement Rotterdam-based Unilever said women in seven of 10 countries felt beauty as portrayed in fashion pages was unattainable. As a result, Unilever searched for a face that would challenge the stereotype of beauty. Since the campaign began in the United States, 100,000 people have responded to a Web site with 83,000 checking off the "wonderful" box. Either way, Sinclair has no problems with being objectified by the Dutch company. "I've never been beautiful in my life, but I feel I am beautiful now; it's about growing older gracefully," she said. "I got involved in this campaign to be an ambassador for older people and to affirm that we have a lot to offer and we aren't past it."
