PHILADELPHIA, Dec. 9 (UPI) -- A Philadelphia oil company pumped 100 gallons of heating oil into the wrong home -- flooding the basement.

The homeowners told WCAU-TV, Philadelphia, F.C. Haab Co. mistakenly pumped oil into an old fuel pipe and they don't even have a fuel tank.

The oil flooded the basement.

"Old family mementos, Christmas tree ornaments, stuff the kids left behind when they moved away" were all destroyed, one of the occupants said.

The oil company said it would send cleanup crews and pay for the damage.

Meanwhile, all services such as water and heat had to be cut off from the house because of the danger of fire.
