Ogica was jailed in 2001 for attempted fraud and making false statements by claiming his $1 million lottery ticket was stolen, the BBC reported Tuesday. Advertisement Police reportedly became skeptical of his claims because of his past record of insurance fraud and other financial difficulties. Nonetheless, Ogica continued to play the lottery -- finally becoming a real winner.
