Subscribe | UPI Odd Newsletter Subscribe GERRINGONG, Australia, Nov. 22 (UPI) -- Three men attempting to rob a restaurant in Australia tried to kick in a door, not realizing it was an unlocked sliding door. Police said 20 bemused patrons inside the restaurant at watched as the three men, wearing balaclavas, tried to kick open the glass door, reported the Australian Broadcasting Corp. Monday. Advertisement "Three men allegedly had hoods covering their faces, one was allegedly armed with a knife," said police Sgt. John Klepzcarek. "The man with the knife attempted to push to open the glass sliding door and because it wouldn't open, he started kicking it." One of the other men tried to push the sliding door and after a number of attempts all three men fled, according to Klepzcarek.
