SEAFORD, Del., Oct. 13 (UPI) -- A pool of 33 workers at a Delaware printing company said it holds the winning ticket to a Powerball drawing worth more than $214 million.

Four of the workers from the Sussex Printing Corp. in southwestern Delaware met Tuesday with state lottery officials, who validated the winning ticket. The 33 winners have taken the state up on its lottery rules that winners can remain anonymous, the Dover News Journal newspaper reported.

Delaware Lottery Director Wayne Lemons said the winners chose to take a lump-sum payment of $117 million. After taxes each of the 33 members of the pool will get about $2.6 million, the News Journal said.

The pool of employees bought $165 -- $5 per member -- worth of Powerball tickets ahead of last Saturday's drawing.

Sussex Printing produces a weekly shopper publication called The Guide and the owners fear a mass resignation because of the employees' windfall. They issued a statement, however, promising to keep publishing.

The ticket was sold at a Willie's convenience store in Blades, Del. Lottery officials gave the store owner a check for $10,000 for selling the winning ticket.
