The two bare-butt bikers were performing stunts on U.S. 340 when Matlock lost control of his Honda and crashed into a tow truck parked on the side of the road. He died at the scene.

Matlock and Edwards were being taped by an affiliate of Holding It Big Productions, a Baltimore-based company doing a documentary on extreme sports, police said.

An investigation continued that could result in others being charged, they added.
