"Bald used to be an embarrassment, but with pro athletes and Vin Diesel, it's taken a different turn," owner Gary Arnold of Santa Clara, Calif., told the San Jose Mercury News. "It's an in thing to be bald, and it's sexy to be bald. My wife talked me into shaving my head, and I love it. I think bald -- bald is beautiful." Advertisement Arnold said Wednesdays used to be slow for the restaurant, but with his new marketing scheme for the bald and partially bald, the restaurant is getting international attention, the Mercury News reported Sunday. The restaurant owner has been doing interviews with news media internationally. Arnold says Australians seem fascinated by the concept and he's done five radio call-in shows for down under stations.
