HOUSTON, June 22 (UPI) -- The British streaker who ran across Reliant Stadium in front of its 70,000-strong crowd at this year's Super Bowl was fined $1,000 in Houston Tuesday.

A jury of six women imposed the fine on Mark Roberts, 39, of Liverpool England. Roberts will not have to serve any jail time for his offense, The Houston Chronicle reported.

"I've got no intention of ever shedding my clothes again in Texas," said Roberts, who calls himself the "World's Greatest Streaker," and claims to have performed more than 300 such stunts around the globe.

Roberts was convicted of misdemeanor trespassing Monday and could have faced six months in jail and a $2,000 fine.
