PULASKI, W.Va., June 15 (UPI) -- Two members of the New Jersey rock band Scream! Hello appeared in a Pulaski, W. Va., court for allegedly mooning a motorist.

Cpl. Anthony Stone, an Army National Guardsman from Bristol, Tenn., filed the charges against singer James Caverly and guitarist Dan Kluxen March 12, the Roanoke Times reported Tuesday. He said Stone said Caverly mooned him and several other motorists on Interstate 81.

Stone followed the band's van for more than 40 minutes until it reached Pulaski, where the band was performing, and filed a complaint with police. Officers stopped Scream! Hello in the middle of its show to arrest Caverly and Kluxen and the two stayed in jail for three hours while their band mates raised bail.

The charge against Kluxen was dismissed Monday, as was a charge against Caverly for not wearing his seat belt.

However, judge set aside Caverly's indecent exposure charge until September. Caverly was ordered to complete 40 hours of community service, and if he does, the indecent exposure charge will be dropped.

"He did not commit an act of indecent exposure," Stanley said. "It's just someone overreacting to something they think they saw."
