Neighbor feud spreads to lawn mowing spat

BRISTOL, N.Y., May 19 (UPI) -- A New York state woman has a court date for mowing her next-door neighbor's grass, the Rochester Democrat & Chronicle reported.

Rosemarie Cherry, who along with her husband, Dale, has had a long-running feud with neighbor Joe Green, was issued an appearance ticket and must appear before the Bristol Town Court on the criminal charge of trespassing.

A news release from the Ontario County Sheriff's Office succinctly stated: "Subject arrested after she went over onto an adjacent neighbor's property and mowed several feet."

Dale Cherry, meanwhile, faces his own court date after being charged last week with harassment in the feud.

He said both he and Green have hired lawyers.

Green declined to comment.
