The blood donation competition at MU was part of last week's Greek Week, which pitted fraternities and sororities against each other in a number events, The Missourian reported Wednesday. Advertisement Christie Key of Gamma Phi Beta faces disciplinary action, which could include expulsion, for sending an e-mail that said: "I don't care if you got a tattoo last week. Lie. I don't care if you have a cold. Suck it up. We all do. Lie. Recent piercings? Lie. Even if you're going to use the Do Not Use My Blood sticker, give anyway." The Department of Student Life is investigating and will decide on Key's punishment, university officials said. The Red Cross, meanwhile, has assured the public the blood collected on campus is safe.
