KOCHI, Japan, Oct. 13 (UPI) -- The world's worst racehorse is finally getting into the winner's circle, sort of, in Japan.

Japan's Kochi Racing Association announced Tuesday that the image of Haruurara, who has never won in 95 starts, has begun appearing on betting slips at the regional track.

The slips feature Haruurara's well known black, red and blue colors in the shape of a heart.

Some fans are hoping that Tuesday's race, Haruurara's 96th, will extend his losing streak.

Haruurara has done much to help the debt-ridden track with his record for hopelessness, drawing huge crowds, hefty bets and whopping sales of T-shirts featuring its image.
