DANIA BEACH, Fla., Oct. 2 (UPI) -- Maybe it was the Britney Spears video featuring a schoolgirl costume, but "Sexy Schoolgirl" was voted the sexiest female Halloween costume.
And no doubt Russell Crowe influenced votes for the sexiest male costume, "Gladiator".
According to an extremehalloween.com survey of more than 2,900 visitors to the online costume and accessories Web site, 32.7 percent voted Sexy Schoolgirl the sexiest costume for ladies and 35.6 percent voted Gladiator the sexiest costume for men.
The site's manager, Shari Maxwell, said: "Movies and television have a tremendous impact on the hottest costumes each year. The Hulk is the hottest costume for boys, and our customers voted Freddy Kruger as the scariest Hollywood costume of all time."
