Aretha Franklin will stop touring

NEW YORK, April 15 (UPI) -- Legendary R&B singer Aretha Franklin will no longer tour after her upcoming 2003 tour, her record company announced in New York Tuesday. Arista Records President-CEO Antonio "L.A." Reid said that Franklin -- known to fans as The First Lady of Soul -- will continue to perform "select dates" in the future.
