Writers Guild announces award nominees

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 6 (UPI) -- The Writers Guild of America announced the nominees Thursday for the 55th Annual Writers Guild of America Awards, to be presented March 8. The 10 nominees for best original screenplay and adapted screenplay are widely regarded as frontrunners for the Oscars in those categories.
