LEANN'S LATEST ALBUM DEBUTS AT NO. 12

LeAnn Rimes' new album, "Twisted Angel," debuted at No. 12 on the multi-genre Billboard 200, an impressive start by any measure -- but not as good as most of her other albums.

Two of her seven other albums -- "Unchained Melody/The Early Years" and "You Light Up My Life -- Inspirational Songs" -- debuted at No. 1, while two made their debuts at No. 4.

Rimes' "God Bless America" last year debuted at No. 159.

PAISLEY JOINS FIANCEE ON SMALL SCREEN

Look for Brad Paisley to try his hand at acting on a future episode of "According To Jim," his new fiancee's sitcom on ABC.

Paisley says he plays a few scenes as the boyfriend of Williams' character, Dana. The air date for the episode has not been set.

'HAYRIDE' EMCEE LOGAN DIES

Funeral services are being held today for Horace Logan, the original producer/emcee of the Louisiana Hayride. He died in Texas Sunday at 86.

The show, which started in 1948 on KWKH radio in Shreveport, La. went on to launch the careers of Hank Williams, Elvis Presley, Red Sovine, and many others.

Being the jumping-off point for those and other country music legends gained the show a nickname that stuck -- "Cradle of the Stars."

Logan coined the phrase "Elvis has left the building" in trying to calm the crowd after a 1956 performance.
