Bobby Gentry's single, "Ode To Billie Joe," certified gold, 1967.

Hank Williams Jr.'s "All My Rowdy Friends Are Here On Monday Night" debuts as the theme for ABC-TV's "Monday Night Football," 1989.

Randy Travis' "Heroes And Friends" album released, 1990.

The Judds' "Love Can Build A Bridge" album released, 1990.

KRAUSS/UNION STATION ALBUM DUE NOV. 5

Alison Krauss & Union Station are set to release a live album Nov. 5 on Rounder Records.

The two-disc set -- which has yet to be titled --was recorded April 29-30 in Louisville, Ky., as the band completed its spring tour.

Fans will hear a lot from dobro master Jerry Douglas, banjoist/guitarist Ron Block, and featured performer Dan Tyminski -- the singing voice of George Clooney's character on the "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" soundtrack.

Krauss & Union Station's "New Favorite" debuted at No. 3 on Billboard's country albums chart and helped garner a fistful of International Bluegrass Music Association Awards nominations.


FAITH HILL REMEMBERS SEPT. 11 EVERY DAY

While the nation observes the one-year anniversary of the terror attacks, Faith Hill says she thinks about the horrific events of Sept. 11, 2001 all the time.

"There's not a day that goes by that I have not thought about those families, so for me, it's been every day," Hill told LAUNCH.com.

Hill said the nation's reaction to the attacks renewed her patriotism, but the way Americans pulled together did not really surprise her.

"It's taught all of us a lesson, I think," Hill said.


TERRI CLARK, CAROLYN DAWN JOHNSON WIN CCMA AWARDS

Terri Clark took the Fan's Choice award at this week's Canadian Country Music Awards in Calgary, Alberta.

Carolyn Dawn Johnson won three CCMAs -- female vocalist, single and CMT video for "I Don't Want You to Go."

Male vocalist went to Paul Brandt and Emerson Drive took album of the year for "Rising Star."

Song of the year honors went to Jason McCoy for "Ten Million Teardrops" and the top-selling album was Garth Brooks' "Scarecrow."
