LOS ANGELES, June 10 (UPI) -- Here is a list of nominees for the 28th Humanitas Prizes, announced Monday in Los Angeles:

Feature film: "A Beautiful Mind," Akiva Goldsman (Universal Studios); "I Am Sam," Kristine Johnson & Jessie Nelson (New Line Cinema); "Iris," Richard Eyre, Charles Wood (Miramax)

90 minute or longer/cable: "The Laramie Project," Moisés Kaufman and the members of the Tectonic Theater Project (HBO); "Sins of the Father," John Pielmeier (FX); "Within These Walls," Robert J. Avrech (Lifetime)

90 minute or longer/network: "Anne Frank," Kirk Ellis (ABC); "Crossed Over," John Wierick (CBS); "The Rosa Parks Story," Paris Qualles (CBS)

60 minute: "Bastogne," Bruce C. McKenna ("Band of Brothers," HBO); "Honor Code," Lukas Reiter & David E. Kelley ("The Practice," ABC); "Two Cathedrals," Aaron Sorkin ("The West Wing," NBC)

30 minute: "My Old Lady," Matt Tarses ("Scrubs," NBC); "Looking for God in All the Right Places," Steven Peterman & Gary Dontzig ("State of Grace," ABC Family); "Love, Love, Me Do," Hollis Rich & Brenda Lilly ("State of Grace," ABC Family)

Children's live-action: "The Student Buddy," Gary Rosenkranz ("The Brothers Garcia," Nickelodeon); "My Louisiana Sky," Anna Sandor (Showtime)

Children's animation: "The Boy with His Head in the Clouds," Peter K. Hirsch ("Arthur," PBS); "Balto II: Wolf Quest," Dev Ross (Cartoon Network); "Harold's Birthday Gift," Melody Fox ("Harold and the Purple Crayon," HBO Family)

The 28th Humanitas Prizes are to be awarded on June 25 in ceremonies in Los Angeles.
