'Rings' takes makeup Oscar

LOS ANGELES, March 24 (UPI) -- "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring" won the Oscar Sunday for makeup. It was the first Oscar for the picture, which came into the night with 13 nominations, including one for best picture.
