Advertisement MTV News reports Vedder will induct the Ramones -- minus singer Joey Ramone, who died of cancer last April -- and Kiedis and Frusciante will usher in Talking Heads. Alicia Keys will do the honors for R&B veteran Isaac Hayes, and Wallflowers singer Jakob Dylan will induct Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. Jewel will honor pop-country singer Brenda Lee, '50s singer Darlene Love will induct '60s teen-pop idol Gene Pitney, and rockabilly/swing performer Brian Setzer and bluegrass/country player Marty Stuart will honor Nashville pioneer Chet Atkins, who died in June from cancer. Atkins is being inducted as a sideman. Advertisement Green Day will perform during the show, as will many of the inductees and presenters. VH1 will tape the affair and air it March 20 (at 9 p.m. ET). EVERCLEAR'S ART ALEXAKIS Everclear singer/songwriter Art Alexakis is using time off from recording the next as-yet-untitled Everclear album -- due in stores later this year -- to launch a 16-city solo tour. "Before a song gets to be an Everclear song, it starts off as my song with a guitar and a vocal and that's kind of what I want to bring it back to," Alexakis told RollingStone.com, explaining the decision to tour without drummer Greg Eklund and bassist Craig Montoya. The tour began last Friday in Jacksonville, Fla., and is scheduled to hit 25 cities before wrapping up May 31. Joining the 12-year old rapper on the road will be 14-year old Corey, and Lil' D and J1. "Game Time," Lil' Romeo's sophomore album, will be in stores June 4. The road trip kicked off Sunday in Philadelphia. Advertisement Trik Turner is set to headline the second leg of the tour, which begins in early April, with another band to be named later slated for Rellim's third jaunt around the country, scheduled to launch in early May. Stops on the Rellim Tour also include Boston, Chicago, Indianapolis, Madison, Minneapolis, Miami, Tampa, Daytona, Atlanta, Houston, Dallas, Denver, Phoenix, San Diego, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Sacramento, and San Francisco. According to the news release, the Rellim Tour -- sponsored by Miller Brewing (Rellim is Miller spelled backwards) -- "gives the everyday music fan a look at life as a rock star, giving legal-drinking-age adults backstage access and a chance to see what really happens before the concert." Tickets are available through local radio stations or by logging on to RellimTour.com. FAMILY VALUE TOUR 2001 ALBUM Stone Temple Pilots, Linkin Park, Staind and Static-X are among the artists on the "Family Values Tour 2001" live album, due in stores May 7 (on Elektra). It's the third such release to document the rock-oriented trek, Billboard.com reports. The CD also feature tracks from Deadsy. STP's "Wonderful" is the first single and will be sent this week to U.S. radio outlets for airplay consideration. The upcoming video may include live footage from the tour. Advertisement ELTON JOHN Elton John says he insisted on having a teleprompter so he made sure to get the words right when he performed the tribute song "Candle in the Wind" at Princess Diana's funeral. On "VH1 TV Moments: Elton John," the pop star confesses, "If I make a mistake in singing just by, you know, if I sing 'Good Bye Norma Jean,' I am going to be executed on the spot." Originally, the tune was about Marilyn Monroe but John and Bernie Taupin rewrote the song for Diana, who was killed in a car crash in Paris on Aug. 31, 1997. The episode airs Tuesday (at 10 p.m. ET/PT) on VH1. THE CORRS A live homecoming performance of Irish pop siblings The Corrs is featured on "VH1 Presents The Corrs Live In Dublin," premiering this Thursday (at 9 p.m. ET/PT). Taped Jan. 25 at Ardmore Studios outside of Dublin, the special features the family quartet -- Andrea Corr, Sharon Corr, Caroline Corr, and Jim Corr -- performing some of their most popular hits, such as "Breathless" and "So Young," together with classic songs such as Neil Young's "Only Love Can Break Your Heart," accompanied by a full orchestra. Advertisement Guests include U2's Bono, who duets with Andrea Corr on Ryan Adams's "When the Stars Go Blue" and on "Summer Wine," made famous by Lee Hazelwood and Nancy Sinatra. The Rolling Stones' Ron Wood contributes his trademark guitar stylings to The Corr's cover of Jimi Hendrix's "Little Wing" as well as an encore rendition of the Stones' "Ruby Tuesday." VH1 will repeat the show on St. Patrick's Day (at 1 p.m. ET/PT). On Tuesday, 143/Lava/Atlantic Records will release the "VH1 Presents The Corrs Live In Dublin" companion album.
