Robert Redford will receive honorary Oscar

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., Jan. 25 (UPI) -- The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced Friday that Robert Redford will receive an honorary Academy Award at the Oscars ceremonies on March 24. The Academy said the citation will read: "Robert Redford - Actor, Director, Producer, Creator of Sundance, inspiration to independent and innovative filmmakers everywhere."
