'Daily Show' wins comedy writing Emmy

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 4 (UPI) -- "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" won the Emmy Sunday for outstanding writing for a variety, music or comedy series. The Comedy Central show won in a field of nominees that included "The Chris Rock Show," "Late Night with Conan O'Brien," "Late Show with David Letterman" and "Saturday Night Live."
