Dogs teach 5-month-old Virginia baby to howl

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va., Oct. 29 (UPI) -- A 5-month-old Virginia boy might not be able to speak English yet, but a video posted by his father shows the infant is mastering one language -- dog.

Larry Woods, who posted the video to YouTube, said his family's two dogs, a yellow lab and a chocolate lab, regularly get into "howling battles" for canine supremacy by measuring which of the two dogs can be "louder and more ridiculous."

"They do it so often that our son has decided to join in the war," Woods wrote.

The video shows the clearly fascinated 5-month-old add his own canine-style howl into the mix.

It was unclear who won the "howling battle," but the "war" seems likely to continue for some time.
