Author Elmore Leonard dies
Author Elmore Leonard, speaks at the Miami Book Fair International, on November 17, 1989. Leonard died on August 20, 2013 at his Detroit home three weeks after suffering a stroke. Leonard's works have been adapted as the films "Out of Sight," "Be Cool," "Hombre," "Mr. Majestyk," "Get Shorty" and "3:10 to Yuma," as well as the TV series "Justified."
