SLP98011201- 12 JANUARY 1998- ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI, USA: Kirkwood , Missouri writer-director Stephen Burns Kessler stops to talk to reporters before entering the Federal Courts Building, January 12. Kessler is sueing screen writer Michael Crichton, director Steven Speilberg, Warner Brothers, Universal Pictures and others for copying his screenplay Catch The Wind, to make the 1996 hit movie Twister. Experts testifying on this first day of proceedings, say there are 14 critical similarities in the movie Twister to Kesslers screenplay.
