Fred Rogers dies at 74
WAX2003022702 - WASHINGTON, Feb. 27 (UPI) - FILE PHOTO - Fred Rogers, from the fames PBS television show, died on Feb. 27, 2003, from stomach cancer. He was 74. In this image Rogers thanks President George W. Bush and first lady Laura for inviting him to the White House, and for their efforts to heighten awareness about early education on April 3, 2002, in Washington.
