JER99081105 - 11 AUGUST 1999 - JERUSALEM, ISRAEL: An Israeli father directs his children to view the last major solar eclipse of the 20th. century, August 11, 1999, in Jerusalem through a special viewing tent erected at the Bloomfield Science Museum in Jerusalem. Israelis were warned to not look directly at the eclipse without special protection. The eclipse's high point in Israel lasted nearly three minutes with a 80 percent coverage of the sun by the moon.
