James K. Mitchell shows a photograph of a ceremony ending World War II bearing signatures of U.S. President Harry S. Truman and General Douglas MacArthur in Houston, on June 24, 1985. Mitchell says his photograph could be the most significant historical document discovered since the end of the war. The surrender of the Japanese took place aboard the U.S.S.
