New York Yankee pitcher Mariano Rivera donates sporting goods to Panamanians in New York
New York Yankees' relief pitcher Mariano Rivera is on hand to load boxes of sporting goods onto a truck at the Modell's store's Bronx warehouse which will be flown to Panamanian children on December 12, 2007 in New York City. The sporting goods, including 500 pairs of sneakers and soccer balls, are being donated by Rivera and Modell's and will benefit the Mariano Rivera Foundation which is located in the pitcher's native country of Panama.
