Isralei Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem cabinet meeting
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu looks across the table as he chairs the weekly cabinet meeting in his Jerusalem offices on 13 March 2010. Netanyahu referred to Israel's recent approval of a plan to build 1,600 new housing units in and East Jerusalem, ultra-Orthodox Jewish settlement, announced during U.S. Vice President Joe Biden's visit, as a 'destructive' incident that 'should not have happened.' He also said in the cabinet meeting that he has appointed a committee to investigate the events leading up to the decision, which U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton described as 'insulting' to the US.
