RONALD AND NANCY REAGAN VISITING REAGAN'S HOMETOWN
Republican presidential candidate Ronald Reagan and his wife Nancy are seen here visiting his hometown in Tampico, Illinois February 24, 1976. The apartment which Reagan grew up in was converted into the Village Hall and was named his honorary national campaign headquarters. Some 1500 people, almost twice the towns population, showed up to see the presidential candidate during his visit. (UPI/File)
