Red Cross assists landmine victims in Afghanistan
An Afghan man who lost a leg to a landmine stands in front of the International Red Cross Orthopedic (ICRC) rehabilitation center on December 10, 2009 in Herat, Afghanistan. The aims of the ICRC rehabilitation center are to educate and rehabilitate landmine victims and others with deformities to help them return their former lives.
