NYP2001032606 - 26 MARCH 2001- NEW YORK, NEW YORK, USA: Songwriter Bob Dylan became the first performer in the history of the Oscar 2001 category of Best Song to perform live via satellite from Australia for the March 25, 2001, Oscar telecasts from California. Dylan went on to win the 2001 Oscar Award for Best Song for "Things Have Changed" from the film "Wonder Boys."
