Trapped Miners in Chile Expect to be Rescued
Drilling machine bores through the earth to within 500 feet of the trapped miners in San Jose Mine, Chile on October 4, 2010. Chilean President Sebastian Pinera said the rescue efforts were expected to pull the 33 miners to safety by the end of the month. The miners were found alive on August 22nd after a mine collapse.
