TORNADO KILLS TWO INJURES 17

TORNADO KILLS TWO INJURES 17

The hot tub is the only thing remaining at the home of Joe and Margie Barnett on March 12, 2006 after a tornado destroyed their's and several other homes in Perry County near the small town St. Mary about 80 miles south of St. Louis on March 11. Two people were killed when a man and a woman were traveling in a car and the strong winds pushed the car 75 yards off the road into a propane storage tank. Seventeen others in the small community were injured. Several tornados in a 30 square mile area, landed in communities in Missouri and Illinois. (UPI Photo/Bill Greenblatt)
