First Lady Betty Ford visits historic Plymouth with Kitty Dukakis, Joan Kennedy, Margaret Heckler, and Nancy Kissinger

First Lady Betty Ford (3rd left) visited historic Plymouth on June 29, 1976 to attend preview ceremonies for a Bicentennial art exhibition about women in America’s history at Plymouth’s Pilgrim Hall. The exhibit is entitled “Remember The Ladies --- Women in America 1750-1815.” Joining her were several distinguished women, including (L-R) Kitty Dukakis, wife of Mass. Gov.
