American- Israeli Soldier Max Steinberg Buried In Jerusalem

Israeli soldiers carry the flag covered coffin of American-Israeli soldier Max Steinberg, 24, at his funeral in the military cemetery on Mt. Herzl in Jerusalem, Israel, July 23, 2014. Steinberg, a native of Los Angeles, California, immigrated to Israel and enlisted in the Israel Defense Forces in 2012, where he served as a sharpshooter in the elite Golani Brigade. He was among the 13 soldiers killed by Palestinian militants in the Gaza Strip on Sunday. Twenty-nine Israeli troops have been killed since the army launched a ground incursion into Gaza last week. More than 30,000 people attended the funeral. UPI/Debbie Hill
