Muhammad Ali announces that he will quit boxing

At a news conference in Chicago, Muhammad Ali stated on February 27, 1974, that he intended to quit boxing "right after I get the title." The former heavyweight champion appeared as a representative of the Muslims to announce plans for a $50 million hospital, to be built on Chicago's south side.
