Actress Carol Channing reacts to messages of congratulation from George Burns and President Clinton read by actor Nathan Lane on the stage of the Lunt Fontanne theatre January 10 after Channing's 4,500th performance in the role of Dolly Levi in the musical "Hello Dolly". Ms. Channing orginated the musical role thirty two years ago.
