US JUSTICE DEPARTMENT NEWS CONFERENCE ABOUT ARRESTS IN MIAMI

Deputy FBI Director John Pistole (L) listens as Attorney General Alberto Gonzales speak during a press conference at the Department of Justice June 23, 2006, in Washington, DC. Gonzales answered questions after seven people were arrested in Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) raids in Miami. US authorities allege a plot involving Al-Qaeda as part of a "war against the US government." According to the charges, the five Americans, one Haitian and one other foreigner, organized a plot to attack the 442-meter (1,450-foot) high Sears Tower, the world's third tallest building, and also buildings in Miami. They were scheduled to make their first court appearance today, officials said. (UPI Photo/Kamenko Pajic)
